The Minga family grows their coffee in the mountainous Cajamarca region of northern Peru, where high altitude, rich soils, and a temperate climate create ideal conditions for specialty coffee production. Like many producers in the area, the family relies on sustainable farming practices and meticulous attention to every stage of the harvest and processing, bringing out the full potential of their terroir.
As members of the Café Solidario association, the Minga family is part of a collective project that now brings together more than 250 producers committed to traceability, quality, and sustainable development. Founded in 2017, this organization supports farming families by encouraging responsible practices, better recognition of their coffee's value, and a positive impact within their communities. Every lot from Solidario reflects not only the expertise of its producers, but also a concrete commitment to equity and the future of Peruvian coffee growing.
