We're ZAB CAFÉ, a Montreal coffee roaster named in honour of the founder's mom, Elizabeth. Today, our coffee can be found all over the province and even in other provinces. We've also had a café on St-Denis Street in Montreal since 2021. We do a lot of things and we never get bored!

Social Media Manager & Video Content Creator
Full-time · Parc-Extension (hybrid option) · $45,000 to $60,000
We're looking for a creative and autonomous person to join our communications and marketing team. You'll be responsible for managing our communication platforms and creating video content, with the latitude to pitch your own ideas and bring them to life from start to finish. You'll work in collaboration with the rest of the team.
What you'll do
Community management (25%)
- Engage with the community on all our platforms.
- Monitor comments, direct messages and tagged content.
- Pass along requests, questions, issues and kind words to the relevant internal teams.
Social media management (25%)
- Build and maintain monthly content calendars (product launches, events, announcements, etc.).
- Write, edit, translate and proofread content.
- Manage calendar updates and publishing schedules.
- Track performance, platform updates and trends.
- Create a social media performance report.
Content creation (50%)
- Design, produce and edit visual content (video + reels) showcasing our products, our café and our community.
- Shoot and edit short clips for Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, with a look that's both beautiful and true to our brand.
- Write the copy and subtitles for each post, in French and in English.
- Plan and coordinate shoots with the team.
- Manage the content library (photos, videos, templates) so the whole team has organized access to it.
- Keep an eye on content creation trends and suggest new formats.
The ideal profile
- Experience in content creation and community management.
- Loves being in front of the camera, but loves being behind it even more.
- Creative and detail-oriented.
- An eye for aesthetics that matches our universe.
- Autonomous, organized and able to manage a content calendar and juggle several deadlines without constant supervision, while staying responsive day to day to answer messages and comments with the right tone.
- A feel for trends (without sacrificing our brand identity to chase every single one).
- A driver's licence to get to our partners' locations.
- Bilingual (French/English).
A real plus: someone who loves coffee and the culture around it… but no worries if that's not you yet — we'll teach you!
Details
Schedule and location
Full-time, Monday to Friday, with a flexible schedule.
Occasional weekend availability for content at events (at the café or at our partners') — those hours fold back into your weekly schedule: 2 hours on a Saturday can turn into a Friday afternoon off, for example.
In person in Parc-Extension, with a hybrid option.
Salary
$45,000 to $60,000 depending on experience.
