We are truly excited to present Jesús’s coffee, not only because it’s delicious, but especially because Jesús plays a key role in transforming his community into a hub for specialty coffee production.

With seven years at the Honduran Coffee Institute (IHCAFE), he can now support coffee producers across the country by providing training in soil analysis, harvesting, and coffee processing. His goal is clear: to inspire producers to embrace specialty coffee and adopt better farming practices. In 2018, this dedication bore fruit in his hometown of Selguapa, where, with the help of Rony Gamez, they grew from 2 specialty coffee producers to 30 in just one year.

His journey perfectly embodies the vision of Semilla, our importing partner: to offer fair and transparent prices that enable producers to invest in their farms and communities. With Jesús and visionaries like him, we’re convinced that a sustainable future for coffee is within reach.
