This coffee comes from Asomujer (Asociación de Campesinas del Sur del Huila), an association of women producers based in Timaná, in the southern part of the Huila department. Founded in 2007 by ten pioneering women seeking new ways to add value to their work, the organization has grown steadily ever since. Today, 75 women — activists, single mothers, and those displaced by conflict — join forces to produce exceptional coffees. Together, they share their expertise, provide each other with technical support, and place quality at the heart of every step, from cultivation and processing to commercialization. Their ambition is clear: to build a strong and competitive organization capable not only of producing remarkable coffees, but also of improving incomes, strengthening communities, and promoting economic, social, and environmental sustainability.
