San Coffee is an independent B-Corp certified cooperative from the Campo das Vertentes region in Minas Gerais, Brazil. San Coffee unites 20 member farms and supports 400 small producers, sharing a collective vision focused on sustainability, quality, and community impact. The cooperative proudly combines its rich coffee tradition, dating back to 1860, with modern initiatives promoting environmental conservation and social progress.
Cooperative programs like Beyond Borders provide small producers with tools and technical support, enabling them to gain recognition and add value to their work. Through educational workshops and youth training, San Coffee invests in the future of its communities, fostering sustainable growth and opportunities for all.
San Coffee achieved carbon neutrality in 2020, becoming a pioneer in environmentally responsible coffee production. Its efforts include biodiversity restoration, planting native trees, and researching ways to reduce the carbon footprint at farm level.
