Coffee Information

This coffee comes from Asomujer (Asociación de Campesinas del Sur del Huila), a women producers' association based in Timaná, in the southern part of the Huila department. Founded in 2007 by ten pioneers looking for new ways to recognize their work, the organization has grown steadily ever since. Today, 75 women — activists, single mothers, and those displaced by conflict — unite their strengths to produce exceptional coffees. Together, they share expertise, support each other technically, and place quality at the heart of every step, from cultivation to processing and commercialization. Their ambition is clear: to build a strong and competitive organization capable not only of showcasing remarkable coffees, but also of improving incomes, strengthening communities, and promoting economic, social, and environmental sustainability.
