Located in the Tarrazú canton in Costa Rica, renowned in the country for its high-quality coffee production, the lands of Blanco Ureña family are situated at an altitude ranging from 1910 to 2010 meters above sea level. They primarily focus on cultivating red Catuai and Costa Rica95 varieties. The coffee we are presenting today, in partnership with our importer Balam, is a red Catuai. This collaboration marks the third consecutive year where we could work with the coffees from Don Mariano and his family, offering you a different variety each time.
Don Mariano represents the third generation dedicated to coffee production and transformation. He is a true artisan, constantly seeking innovations in his processes, always striving to improve quality and expand the range of flavors he provides. He and his family make a remarkable team, dedicating their lives to these precious plants and their fruits. While their coffee production is modest in quantity, what they present is always outstanding, bearing witness to their commitment to excellence.
