Frank grew up in the world of coffee thanks to his grandfather, who began cultivating coffee in La Unión over 80 years ago, becoming one of the region’s first coffee farmers. Frank later began his own career in coffee through Starbucks’ specialty coffee program, before becoming an importer and exporter of specialty coffee. This in-depth experience allowed him to push the boundaries of various processing methods, while also gaining access to premium prices for his family’s coffee.

Frank is now the main manager of the family farm, Finca La Indonesia, where he oversees the entire coffee production. He focuses on environmental sustainability, soil health, and responsible water resource management. Frank grows coffee alongside various fruit and shade trees, with the goal of preserving the land for future generations.

Today, his farm is considered one of the most innovative and unique in Colombia, producing explosive and delicious coffees.
