Cupping + origins (french/français)

We explore the history of coffee from Latin America and Africa during our Cupping and Coffee Origins course in Montreal. We'll examine the distinctions between different varieties, discuss various production processes, and the various techniques used in different countries. We'll also explain how these elements influence not only the price, but also the taste of the coffee.

We get hands-on with a cupping session. You'll have the opportunity to taste and compare coffees from different origins, production methods, and varieties. The tasting method used is cupping, a technique used by coffee professionals to perform quality control and select coffee.

The workshop is divided into three parts

1. We engage in theory and history discussions;
2. We taste coffee through cupping;
3. We discuss and share our thoughts on the coffees we've tasted.

Registrations are open up to 4 days before the workshop. Registrations are non-refundable within 72 hours of notice. Within this 72 hours it will still be possible to exchange the ticket for a gift certificate or to offer it to another person.
